Class Price Information

We offer two price packages to fit your needs. When you compare prices you should also compare services.

Basic CWP Class: $50.00 Includes lunch, targets and basic handgun instruction. Some Instructors offer this; we do not recommend this type of training at all. Before you decide, ask the Instructor if they provide only the minimum training requirements. Will minimum training help you learn to protect yourself?

Basic CWP Class with fingerprints: $60.00 Includes lunch, targets and basic handgun instruction. Some Instructors offer this; we do not recommend this type of training at all. Before you decide, ask the Instructor if they provide only the minimum training requirements. Will minimum training help you learn to protect yourself? Is your time worth more than $10.00 to have your fingerprints taken on a different day?

Complete CWP Package: $80.00 Includes lunch, targets, basic handgun instruction, Fingerprints, Self Defense Shooting Instruction. In this class you will learn practical skills of self defense shooting. If your reason to have a C.W.P. is to carry a firearm to protect yourself, this is the class to take. It is our most popular training class.

NOTICE:

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) will not be implementing the Digitized Fingerprinting Concealed Weapon Permit (CWP) program as was previously announced. SLED personnel will continue to seek efficiency measures Division-wide, including the CWP program. SLED appreciates the patience demonstrated by each CWP applicant as SLED Regulatory personnel attempt to address CWP application turnaround times during these challenging economic times.

Group Discount for the Complete CWP Package: $75.00 per person (six or more persons from the same group)

You need to bring: A handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition for the Basic Class and 100 rounds for the Complete CWP Package. If you have a holster, hearing protection and eye protection bring them also. I can provide a holster and hearing and eye protection.

Handgun rentals are available. Ammunition sales are also available.

Class begins at 7:30 and concludes by 5:30. Classes are held rain or shine.

Classes are generally held on Saturday, Sunday and weekday classes are also available by request.
