Things That Make You Say....hmmmm.....

Hey ya'll it's Richard

Welcome to this weeks edition of Things That Make You Say.... hmmmm....

This has been a week of near zero world activity. Yes the world suddenly stood still shortly after the Dick Cheney hunting accident. As far as I could tell, the war on terror was in a cease-fire, the Olympics were scaled back and the world waited on edge to see what would be the outcome of this potentially tragic event....hmmmm....

Once again the mainstream media proved to all just who they really are. Their agenda and motives are so transparent that they are predictable. Each year there are thousands of accidents with firearms, and some unfortunately are tragic. I've never seen a firearm accident that got the coverage that this one has gotten.... hmmmm…. agenda?... Yup.

As the details unfolded about the incident, the media salivated when they got the news that the victim Harry Whittington suffered a heart attack. It was almost as if they were hoping that he would die so Mr. Cheney would possibly face other charges and ..... have to resign....hmmmm....

I listened to Hillary Clinton, Democrat from NY remark about how the Bush Administration wasn't being straightforward with the American public. Well now there's a bit of hypocrisy, hmmmm. Didn't Hillary Clinton, Democrat from NY stand by her man Bill Clinton, Democrat from Arkansas while he lied under oath, hmmmm? Well Mrs. Clinton, at least Harry Whittington was hit in the face with birdshot not with....well what Monica was hit in the face with..... hmmmm.....

Fortunately Harry Whittington is expected to recover, bad news for the media, hmmmm. Yes if the outcome was tragic the media would have resorted back to their old playbook and gotten back on to the gun control bandwagon. By reporting statistics in their usual biased manner, they would once again attempt to convince the audience that guns are evil, and the world will be a much safer place without them.... hmmmm....

Let's look at the facts. In 2002, there were 11829 homicides by firearms (CDC). In the same year there were 44065 deaths (CDC) on our nations roadways, hmmmm.... Could it be safer to own a gun than an automobile.... hmmmm....?

Here's a thought. Lets invite these liberal mainstream press wackos on a hunting trip with Dick Cheney. We'll pack them into an SUV and let Ted Kennedy drive them.... across a bridge of course.... hmmmm.....

I'm Richard Belmore, Conservative from South Carolina, who by the way approves of this message.
