Salem Gun & Archery Club

Our newly expanded indoor/outdoor range is open to the public as a private pistol and archery range. The pistol range has been expanded to 50 yards, with 20 shooting lanes under cover. We will be adding a 40 yard archery range in by the spring of 2010.

Membership applications are now being accepted. To become a member you must be a CWP holder or have had an approved gun safety course and pass a NICS background check. Those without handgun training can still join but will be required to attend a training day and pass an NICS background check.

Members will enjoy the benefits of a private place to shoot, knowing that everyone one on the range has had gun safety training and can legally possess a firearm. Our goal is to provide an affordable safe place to enjoy the sport of shooting.

Membership rates are:

Single Rate: $150.00 per year

Family Rate: $200.00 per year includes Spouse and Children from 12-17 years old

Full time Law Enforcement Members: $100.00 single and $150.00 for family

County Volunteer workers (Fire, Rescue) $100.00 single and $150.00 for family

Hours of operation: Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm Eastern Standard Time. During Daylight Savings Time, the closing time will be extended to 7pm Monday-Sunday. Opening time remains the same year round.

Special Rules: No steel or aluminum case ammunition. The range is limited to handguns or rim-fire rifles only. No shotguns or high powered rifles.

No other fees are required. You may purchase paper targets from us or provide your own.
